Thanks to all who came and got their picture taken with me this weekend. It was nice to shake hands and have you whisper in my ear. You were all so festive and dressed so nice.
Wishing you fond memories of our time together and a Merry Christmas.

We are going to a Christmas parade. Oh to watch the tree lighting at the Capitol will be such a great site. The city of Lansing has fireworks to end a great evening.

Well our elves here love to sing and play. They like making all the toys and they love to see Santa! Yes you can make an elf get upset (they don't actually get mad) but they do get sad. The other day at a mall the elves heard a mom tell her 3 boys, "no that isn't the real Santa, he don't work at malls." That elf wanted to go help that Mom understand that believing and spreading the spirit of Christmas is everyone's way of keeping the meaning of the season. No one knows when the person they meet can be an angel sent for them or the Santa that will touch their hearts and be in their memories for years to come.

Mrs. Claus has turned her attention to me and getting me ready for the season! She has seen to it that I am healthy, and trying to stay that way. First getting my fruits and vegetables at every meal and taking my vitamins to make sure I am getting all I need. I get all the food and desserts I want building up my strength. Oh the goodies and snacks she keeps everywhere, I love dried fruits and almonds and there is also sweets on every table.
Santa's beard takes extra care and Mrs. Claus helps here too! She gets me all the cream and conditioners to keep my hair and beard snowy white and soft. Then trying to keep it curly and wavy in all the right ways. Bottles of hair spray are stocked too, we won't have time to get any, there is so much to do and so much fun to be had at this time of the year!
Oh Nana Claus isn't done, all while singing and humming my favorite songs! She also makes sure my suit is clean and as white as white can be, and a beautiful Christmas red. She makes sure my socks don't have holes in them and my gloves are clean and ready!
Oh I am so happy to have a Mrs. Claus to help me. As you can see she is on the good list. I wonder what she wants for Christmas?

Wow, was our mouths hanging open? We walked into the meet and greet to see 300+ of the Claus sisters and brothers. What a sea of red and green. What a great start to the convention. Everyone was so nice and we met some. Most were busying talking to friends or long lost relatives.

Ebony (our goat) is a new momma. She had her first kid on March 23, 2006. The baby is doing good and is a real cutie. We haven't named it yet but it looks just like her mamma. Ebony is being a good first time mom and caring and licking her bundle of joy. She lets it feed and is watching it closely. The whole farm is proud of the new edition!
Update: It has been named Junior.

I am still enjoying summer but I find myself thinking it is coming to an end. The elves still take mid afternoon swims but more and more they are working on toys. Some have even started to sing Christmas songs. Do you find yourself humming your favorite. I do!
Have you seen me watching you? I have been camping and boating. I even did a little put- putting this year. Maybe you've seen me, I have seen you.

We have another new edition to our farm. Her name is Kate and she is a pretty white rabbit. She is an older rabbit who needed a new home and she is the biggest rabbit we have now.
